The metal sheath of high-voltage cables is a critical component. When current flows through the cable core, it induces circulation currents in the metal sheath. Poor insulation of the outer sheath, faulty grounding, or incorrect grounding methods can lead to abnormal sheath currents, posing serious risks to cable operation. 

The Cable Sheath Circulation Current Online Monitoring System primarily consists of a monitoring host, current transformers, and a backend. Split-core current transformers are installed on the cable sheath grounding wires or the main cable, converting signals for input into the monitoring device.
