Solution Overview

In relatively enclosed indoor spaces, poor air circulation can cause SF6 and its decomposition products to accumulate. Since SF6 is colorless and odorless, it poses significant risks to inspection and maintenance personnel. For example, if an SF6-equipped distribution room (e.g., GIS) experiences a leak, SF6 gas can accumulate in the lower layers of the space. At certain concentrations, it can cause oxygen deprivation in the brain, leading to asphyxiation and serious accidents for personnel entering the area.

To ensure the health and safety of staff, an intelligent online detection system is used to monitor the concentration of SF6 gas and oxygen in the ambient air. The system can provide real-time alarms when SF6 gas levels exceed limits or when there is oxygen deficiency. It can also automatically activate ventilation fans and offers additional features such as temperature and humidity detection, voice prompts for operational status, remote alarms, and historical data queries.
